Well we've all been waiting, and here it is. blink-182's much anticipated single off their equally anticipated 7th album, "California". Summer 2016 is set to be one of the best since 1999. Angels & Airwaves is primarily driven by Tom Delonge's ambitious multi-media concepts. The band's work isn't restricted to music, they've produced films, books, and graphic novels. This EP is their latest endeavor. It's only been about 8 months since the release of the EP "...Of Nightmares", but AVA are already hitting us with this new 4 track EP.

In recent years there have been many horror inspired metal bands. Aside from obvious choices like Marilyn Manson and Motionless in White, there are a growing number of female fronted metal bands taking cues from their male counterparts. This week, we'll be taking a look at a few of In This Moment's videos for our Music Video Monday.

Almost 2 years have passed since the band's debut album, "Disgusting" graced our ears. A stark contrast to frontman Caleb Shomo's previous band Attack! Attack!, Beartooth have brought their own brand of hardcore punk to the masses. Now they're back with a new song from their sophomore record, "Aggressive". With the title track released as the album's lead single, we know we're in for one helluva great song.

Yes we know that these days "alt. rock" is just a very large generalization of many genres. But we're still going to give this "Throwback" a go. Remember, we've already done throwbacks lists for pop punk and emo, both of which technically fall under the alt. rock category. So if you think we missed a song, be sure to click the respective links and check those lists for songs. We're also working on a "hard rock" list, so a song may appear there.
Any song is fair game so long as it is at least 5 years old.To see our honorable mentions click the following (link).

They've got some of the best videos. Always fun, quirky, and Brendon could definitely make it as an actor if he wanted to. Panic! at the Disco have done a lot of videos during their career. We've got 3 of our favorite right here for your viewing pleasure.

Saosin's album "Along the Shadow" is quickly approaching its release date of May 20, 2016. With just about a month to go, they've unveiled the album's next single, "Racing Toward A Red Light". They just blew our minds again. letlive's 4th album is set for a June 10, 2016 release date. The album's first single, "Good Mourning, America" is another politically charged gem that takes direct stabs at our fucked up country, and police brutality in particular. But we'll get into that more in a bit.

Why fix what's not broken? Killswitch Engage seem to have written and recorded their 7th album with that mindset. The band have returned from the studio with this killer album, the follow up to the masterpiece that is "Disarm the Descent". About 3 years later, and they're back with "Incarnate" (not to be confused with "Reincarnate" Motionless in White's 2014 album).
