Killswitch Engage - "Incarnate" Review

Why fix what's not broken? Killswitch Engage seem to have written and recorded their 7th album with that mindset. The band have returned from the studio with this killer album, the follow up to the masterpiece that is "Disarm the Descent". About 3 years later, and they're back with "Incarnate" (not to be confused with "Reincarnate" Motionless in White's 2014 album).

Wage War - "Blueprints" Review

Fearless Records have been signing a lot of artists as of late. With new comers The White Noise, Oceans Ate Alaska, As It Is, I Prevail, My Enemies and I, and Movements they've certainly got a wide array of talent. The latest rookie debut is from Wage War, a metalcore outlet from Ocala, FL; a city known for producing metalcore legends Underoath and A Day to RememberThe band's debut, "Blueprints" is the best Black Friday purchase you could have made. This isn't an album for the faint of heart. It's nonstop modern metal goodness. Click this (link) to buy the album on iTunes.

August Burns Red - "Found in Far Away Places" Review

Expectations were blown away after listening to the most recent effort from metalcore heavy weights August Burns Red. Their music has always been good, but this was phenomenal. A standout from other metalcore bands, and a step in the right direction, fellow artists would do well to take a page from ABR's book. These guys know what they're doing an more.

We Came As Romans - "Self Titled Album" Review

If you're a metalcore fan then you've at least heard of We Came As Romans. Formed in 2005, this band is currently performing on Warped Tour 2015. An electonicore band based out of Detroit, they have spent the last few years mixing up their sound. Drawing from a more diverse pool of influences, the band has made the switch to a more mainstream sound like so many other metalcore bands have (Of Mice and Men and Bring Me The Horizon in particular).
